I can't make it better... but I can make you cheese dip (recipe)
Sometimes "simple" is just better.
It's scientifically proven (because... you know... my stomach and brain were around when I studied biology in high school) that cheese makes us happy. I have seen the effects of this after many a late night quesadilla after funeral planning, or five course cheese-filled dinners on Valentine's Day dinners at Spaghetti Factory — a great distraction from the fact that my dad can't celebrate Valentine's Day with my mom anymore.
And on top of the fact that cheese is the bomb, this dip is also easy to make. When your friends

Ingredients
1-2 blocks of cream cheese
Garlic Powder
Brown/Yellow Onion
Directions
Put cream cheese in a bowl to soften. Sprinkle generously with garlic powder (basically coat the whole top of the cream cheese). Use a cheese grater to grate fresh onion - also a generous amount to coat the top. Use a fork to mash and stir the mixture together. Serve chilled with Ruffles potato chips and/or fresh veggies (carrots, broccoli, celery, etc.
